- October 1996- November 2000: CSIR Research Fellow in Department of Plant Cell Biotechnology, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore 570 013, India. Worked under the guidance of Dr. G.A. Ravishankar, Head & Scientist, Plant Cell Biotechnology Department, CFTRI for Ph.D degree.
- December 2000- July 2005: Postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Jorge M. Vivanco, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
